HIMALAYAN WASTELANDS SHORTSWORD V2
LIMITED RUN: 7 blades only
Blade Length: 17″
Handle Length: 8.25″
Spine Thickness at Bolster: 6mm
Blade Weight: 720g
This is the second iteration of this absolutely mental blade, designed in collaboration with Jet Skelton of JBS Bladeworks. Compared to the last blade, this one goes all in on being a shortsword, packing in another 2.5″ of gently recurved blade and an extended handle that allows for both one handed and 2 handed use. The handle is ergonomically contoured to allow for retention in a variety of grips and to give you the best purchase while directing all the power that a significant blade like this produces. This is quite a deceivingly agile blade for it’s size and width, allowing it to adapt snugly to brush clearing, martial arts roles and with the addition of a second hand heavy chopping work.
The blade comes with raw forged flats as standard as well as with the special option of White Camphor Wood for the handle material. This wood is hard, light to save weight and quite a crisp white which makes for great contrast with the dark forged flats or even the acid washed blade if you so choose.
Envisioned to be a do-everything survival big-blade this is a piece that would be just as comfortable sitting in the back of your truck bed, embedded in a log next to a wilderness campfire or strapped to your side as you tear through the irradiated 2075 wastelands on a motorbike.
